Terms & Conditions10 sections · Effective October 3, 2026

Good working relationships start with clear expectations. These Terms explain the rules for using TagVolt: your account, your plan and payments, your tracking, and what each side is responsible for. Please read them before you use TagVolt.

01

The agreement

These Terms are a contract between you and SEM REVIVAL, LLC, the company behind TagVolt. You must be 18 or older, and signing up or using TagVolt means you agree to them.

TagVolt is a service of SEM REVIVAL, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. Our registered address is 2810 North Church Street, Wilmington, DE 19802, USA. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean SEM REVIVAL, LLC. “TagVolt” means the service described below. “You” means the person or business that uses TagVolt.

These Terms cover all of TagVolt:

  • the website tagvolt.io, including its email forms, the Tracking Checker and the “Ask AI” box in the docs;
  • the app at app.tagvolt.io, where you manage your account, workspaces and plan;
  • the tracking servers (also called containers) that we run for our customers.

When you sign up for TagVolt, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you had an account before October 3, 2026, using TagVolt on or after that date means you agree to these Terms. When you use the website, these Terms apply to that use too. If you do not agree, please do not use TagVolt.

You must be 18 or older to create an account or use TagVolt’s tools. If you use TagVolt for a business, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms for that business. In that case, “you” also means the business.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. If you and SEM REVIVAL, LLC sign a separate written agreement, that agreement wins where it conflicts with these Terms. The short summary under each heading is only a reading aid. The full text is what applies.

These Terms, and any separate signed agreement, are the whole agreement between you and us about TagVolt. If a court decides that part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer this agreement to anyone else without our written OK, except by handing over a workspace in the app, as section 02 describes. We may transfer it if our business, or TagVolt, is merged, sold or reorganized. You and we are independent parties, and no one else has rights under these Terms.

02

Accounts and access

Keep your account details correct and your password safe. The workspace Owner controls billing, and everyone in a workspace can see each other’s name and email.

To sign up, you give your name, your email address and a password. A company name is optional. Please keep your details correct and up to date.

You log in with your email address and password. We email you a link to confirm your email address, and you must confirm it before you can create a tracking server. If you forget your password, we email you a 6-digit code to reset it.

Keep your password safe and do not share your login. You are responsible for everything that happens in your account. If you think someone else has used your account, email support@tagvolt.io right away. For your security, we record each login and email you when your account is used from a new country. Our Privacy Policy explains what we record.

Your tracking servers belong to a workspace. Each person in a workspace has one of four roles:

  • Owner: controls the workspace. Only the Owner can manage billing, hand the workspace to someone else, or delete it.
  • Admin: helps manage the workspace and can invite people.
  • Member: works in the workspace.
  • Guest: can view, but cannot change anything.

Invite only people you trust, and remove people who no longer need access. Everyone in a workspace, Guests included, can see the name and email address of every other person in it.

Agencies may resell TagVolt to their own clients. If you do, you are responsible for your clients and for how they use TagVolt.

03

The service you choose

TagVolt runs server-side Google Tag Manager for you. Your plan sets your limits, and we answer support emails within 2 business days.

TagVolt hosts server-side Google Tag Manager for you. We run tracking servers with Google’s official server-side Tag Manager software, and you connect each one to your own Google Tag Manager setup. Today, all tracking servers run on Hetzner servers in Falkenstein, Germany.

Each plan has limits, such as requests per month, tracking servers, custom domains and team seats. Requests that your tracking servers receive count toward your plan’s request limit, as the pricing page explains. The pricing page and the Billing page in the app show the current plans, prices and limits. If the pricing page or the app says something different from these Terms, these Terms apply. Section 05 explains payment.

Every plan includes email support. Write to support@tagvolt.io, and we will reply within 2 business days.

Your tracking results depend on your setup, the data your websites send, your visitors’ consent choices and other companies’ systems. We do not promise any ad performance, attribution result or number of recovered events. We also do not promise a set uptime. Section 09 explains this.

The website’s free tools, such as the Tracking Checker and the “Ask AI” box in the docs, give automatic answers. These answers may be wrong or incomplete, so please check them before you rely on them.

We may improve, change or remove features over time. Features marked as beta or test may change or stop at any time. We also run maintenance and updates, and we try to keep any disruption small.

04

Your tracking and acceptable use

You decide what your tracking collects, and you must follow the law. Do not send sensitive data through TagVolt, and do not attack or overload our servers.

You decide what your tracking collects, why you collect it, and where you send it. For that data, we act for you and follow your setup. You are responsible for your websites, tags, settings and destinations.

You are responsible for following the laws that apply to your tracking. For example, give your visitors any notice the law requires, and get their consent where the law requires it. Server-side tracking is not a way around privacy laws.

You must not use TagVolt for anything illegal, including anything that breaks export control or sanctions laws. You also must not:

  • send sensitive data through TagVolt, such as health data, children’s data, passwords or full card numbers;
  • hack or attack TagVolt, or try to reach other customers’ data;
  • use TagVolt to send spam or harmful code;
  • flood our servers with traffic, or run load tests without telling us first at support@tagvolt.io;
  • copy or reverse engineer TagVolt, or try to get around its limits or security.

Section 08 explains what happens if someone breaks these rules.

05

Plans, payment and cancellation

Prices are in USD and include tax. Paid plans renew automatically until the Owner cancels, and we do not give refunds. We email the Owner at least 30 days before a price rise or a change to the Free plan’s limits.

You can use the Free plan or a paid plan. The Free plan stays free forever, but its limits may change. If they do, we email the Owner of each Free workspace at least 30 days before. We do not offer free trials of paid plans.

Prices are in US dollars (USD) and include tax, so the price you see is the total you pay. You can pay monthly or yearly. Yearly billing makes the plan price 20% cheaper and is paid upfront for the whole year. Add-ons are not discounted. On a yearly plan, your request limit still resets every month.

Paid plans can add extra requests, tracking servers or custom domains. These add-ons are always billed monthly, even on a yearly plan.

Payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see your full card number. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year until the Owner cancels. When you subscribe, you allow us to charge your payment method through Stripe for each renewal. We do not send a reminder email before a renewal. If we raise the price for customers who already pay, we email the workspace Owner at least 30 days before. The new price starts at your first renewal after those 30 days.

Upgrades start at once, and you pay only for the time left in the current billing period. Downgrades start at the next billing period. Before you downgrade, your workspace must fit the new plan’s limits for tracking servers, custom domains and seats.

When your workspace reaches 80% of its monthly request limit, we warn the Owner in the app. If usage reaches 110% of the limit, your tracking servers pause. They start again when you upgrade, add more requests, or your monthly limit resets. We never charge surprise fees for going over your limit. Automatic upgrade is off unless you turn it on. If you turn it on, we move your workspace up one plan when you reach your limit and charge you for the time left. It is not available on the Free or Powerhouse plans.

If a renewal payment fails, we email the Owner and give you 3 days to pay. Stripe also tries your card again. If the payment is still missing after 3 days, your tracking servers pause until the bill is paid. Unpaid amounts are still owed.

Only the Owner can cancel a paid plan. The Owner cancels in the app under Billing, which opens Stripe’s billing page. Your paid plan keeps running until the end of the time you have paid for. Then your workspace moves to the Free plan, the Free plan’s limits apply, and request logs are no longer available.

We do not give refunds, including for yearly plans or unused time, unless the law requires it. If you think a charge is wrong, email support@tagvolt.io so we can check it.

06

Connected services

The platforms you connect, such as Google or Meta, have their own terms. You choose them, and we do not control them.

You choose which outside platforms get your tracking data, for example Google, Meta or TikTok. You set this up in your own Google Tag Manager setup. Each platform has its own terms, rules, limits and privacy practices, and it can change its systems at any time.

You are responsible for following those platforms’ terms. We do not control them. We are not responsible for what they do with the data you send them, or for changes on their side that affect your tracking. Please test your setup after each change and before you rely on a new connection.

If you connect your own domain, you are responsible for its DNS settings. We get a security (HTTPS) certificate for it from Let’s Encrypt.

We also use outside providers to run TagVolt, for example Hetzner for servers and Stripe for payments. Our Privacy Policy lists these providers and what they do.

07

Content, software and feedback

Your data stays yours, and we use your tracking data only to run the service. We keep your private information secret, and TagVolt’s software and brand stay ours.

You own the data and content you bring to TagVolt, including your tracking data and your setup. You allow us to store and use your tracking data and your setup only to run the service for you: to run your tracking servers, bill you, keep the service healthy and fix problems. We never sell your tracking data, and we never use it for our own advertising. We use your account details, such as your name and email, as our Privacy Policy explains. Our Privacy Policy also explains what we store and for how long.

We keep your private information secret. “Private information” means information about you, your business and your tracking data that is not public. We share it only as our Privacy Policy explains: for example, with the providers that help us run TagVolt, when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, with our professional advisers, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.

If a data breach affects your data, we will tell you without undue delay.

TagVolt’s software, documentation, design and brand belong to us or to the companies that license them to us. While you follow these Terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive right to use TagVolt and its documentation. You may not transfer this right, except that agencies may resell TagVolt as section 02 allows.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, and we owe you nothing for them. We use your company name or logo as a customer reference only if you say yes, each time.

08

Suspension and ending the service

You can stop at any time. We close accounts only for rule breaks or unpaid bills, and for a rule break we usually give you 7 days to fix it first.

You can stop using TagVolt at any time. To stop paying, the Owner cancels the paid plan in Billing, as section 05 explains.

The Owner can delete a workspace in the app. Before that, delete its tracking servers and cancel any paid plan. Deleting a tracking server deletes its logs at once. Copies in the raw traffic file (explained in our Privacy Policy) and in our backups are deleted within 30 days. To delete your user login, or to get a copy of your data, email support@tagvolt.io from your account email.

We close accounts only if you break these Terms or do not pay. We never close an account without a reason. If you break these Terms, we usually warn you first and give you 7 days to fix the problem. If the problem causes serious harm, or the use is illegal, we may pause your account or tracking servers at once. If a problem is not fixed, we may close the account.

If a renewal is not paid, your tracking servers pause after 3 days, as section 05 explains. If bills stay unpaid, we may close the account.

After an account is closed, we delete its account data within 90 days. Copies in our backups may last up to 30 more days. We keep billing records for as long as tax law requires. If you want a copy of your data, ask us before your account is closed.

Some parts of these Terms still apply after the service ends. These include amounts you owe, ownership, confidentiality, limits on liability, your promise to cover our costs, and the choice of law and courts.

09

Responsibilities and disputes

TagVolt is provided “as is”, with no uptime promise. The most we pay is one month’s fee for your plan (for a yearly plan, one-twelfth of the yearly price), and Delaware law applies.

TagVolt is provided “as is”. We do not promise that it will be free of errors or always online, and we do not promise any uptime level. As far as the law allows, we make no other promises, stated or implied, for example that TagVolt fits a particular purpose.

As far as the law allows, the most we will pay for all claims about TagVolt is one month’s fee for your plan at the time of the claim. For a yearly plan, this is one-twelfth of the yearly price. For example, if you pay $864 a year for the Surge plan, the most we will pay is $72. We are also not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost sales or lost data.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right that the law says cannot be limited.

If your own tracking breaks the law and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you will cover our costs. This includes damages, fines and reasonable legal fees.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as internet or power failures, outages at our providers, natural disasters or war.

The laws of the State of Delaware, USA, govern these Terms. Any dispute about TagVolt or these Terms goes to the courts in Delaware. If you have a problem, please email support@tagvolt.io first so we can try to solve it together.

10

Changes and contact

When we change the wording of these Terms, we update this page and its date, and using TagVolt after that means you agree. We email you before price rises and Free plan limit changes. Send questions and notices to support@tagvolt.io.

We may change the wording of these Terms. When we do, we update this page and the date shown at the top. We do not email you about changes to the wording of these Terms, so please check this page from time to time. If you keep using TagVolt after the new date, you agree to the changed Terms. If you do not agree, stop using TagVolt and cancel any paid plan.

Price rises and changes to the Free plan’s limits are different: we email you about them first, as section 05 explains. We send notices about your workspace, such as payment warnings, price rises and Free plan limit changes, to the Owner’s account email. Some warnings, such as usage warnings, are shown in the app. You agree to receive notices from us electronically.

One email address handles support, billing, privacy and legal questions: support@tagvolt.io. Please include your workspace name so we can help faster. Privacy requests follow the steps in our Privacy Policy. Formal legal notices to us must also be sent to support@tagvolt.io.
